The month-end GST crush

  • Questions all day. The owner wants the bank balance, a salesperson wants a customer's dues, and each call stops the work in hand.
  • Entries typed twice. Orders and receipts arrive on paper or WhatsApp and are typed into TallyPrime in the evening, with mistakes.
  • The month-end GST crush. GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, purchase matching and e-invoices all pile up in the same few days.

How Auditer helps accountants

  • Owners answer their own questions. Cash, dues, ledgers and reports on the owner's phone mean fewer calls to you.
  • Entries that arrive in TallyPrime. Staff create invoices, receipts and stock entries; the Agent posts them and Tally checks them as usual.
  • Optional entries to review. Set new staff to optional entries, and make them regular in TallyPrime once you have checked them.
  • GSTR-2B matching. Purchase vouchers matched with GSTR-2B, with suppliers who have not filed and the credit at risk.
  • Returns and e-documents. GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B prepared from the books, and e-invoices and e-way bills with deadline alerts.
  • TallyPrime stays the books. Nothing changes in how you work in TallyPrime; the Agent syncs and posts in the background.

  • 9:30 am · Check yesterday's entries. Open My Entries: invoices and receipts that staff made yesterday, posted into TallyPrime, and any that need attention.
  • 11:00 am · Review optional vouchers. A new salesperson's entries sit in TallyPrime as optional vouchers. Check them and make them regular.
  • 1:00 pm · Fix a refused e-invoice. An invoice was refused for a wrong customer GSTIN. Correct it in Auditer, which writes the fix into TallyPrime, and register it again.
  • 3:30 pm · Match purchases. GSTR-2B matching shows three suppliers have not filed. Email each a reminder from the same screen.
  • 6:00 pm · No evening typing. The day's orders and receipts are already in TallyPrime, so the evening is free for reconciliations.

What it costs

Estimate your cost

Work you do directly in TallyPrime costs nothing in Auditer, because syncing is free. Credits pay for entries created in Auditer and posted to TallyPrime, for seats beyond the Owner's, and for e-invoices and e-way bills Auditer generates; they come from the Owner's credits.

Example: the owner, you and 2 salespeople. 3 seats at 100 credits is 300 credits. 400 entries from the salespeople at 0.10 credit is 40 credits, and 80 e-invoices at 2 credits is 160 credits. Total: 300 + 40 + 160 = 500 credits a month, which is ₹500 plus GST, or ₹590, plus 100 credits once to turn on e-invoicing for the company.

Frequently asked questions

Auditer helps in-house and outsourced accountants who maintain TallyPrime by putting the books in front of owners and staff, so routine questions stop, and by bringing staff entries into Tally as vouchers you can review. GST returns, GSTR-2B matching, e-invoices and e-way bills run from the same synced data. Work you do directly in TallyPrime costs nothing in Auditer; entries created in Auditer cost 0.10 credit each.

Does Auditer replace TallyPrime for accountants?

No. TallyPrime stays the books of record and you keep working in it. Auditer syncs the books to the web and phone and posts entries made there into TallyPrime.

Can I check staff entries before they affect the books?

Yes. Set their entry mode to optional only. Their entries arrive in TallyPrime as optional vouchers, which count only after you make them regular.

What happens if a staff entry is wrong?

If TallyPrime refuses it, My Entries shows Tally's reason so it can be fixed and retried. If it was posted, correct it in TallyPrime as you would any voucher, and the next sync brings the change to Auditer.

Does the accountant need a paid seat in Auditer?

Yes, unless the accountant is the Workspace Owner. Each member other than the Owner uses a seat at 100 credits a month, paid from the Owner's credits.

Can I manage several businesses' books in Auditer?

Yes. You can belong to several workspaces and switch between them, and one workspace can hold several TallyPrime companies. Each workspace's Owner decides your role and data access.
