What is Auditer?
Auditer is a companion to TallyPrime. A small Windows app, the Auditer Agent, syncs your Tally companies to the cloud so you and your team can see and work with your books on the web portal and on Android and iPhone apps. Entries you create in Auditer are posted back into TallyPrime.
Do I still need TallyPrime?
Yes. TallyPrime stays your accounting software and your books of record. Auditer reads from it and writes entries into it through the Auditer Agent; it does not replace it.
Does the Tally PC need to stay on?
No. Your data stays visible in Auditer as of the last sync even when the PC is off. Entries made in Auditer wait and are posted to TallyPrime when the Agent runs again.
How much does Auditer cost?
Auditer uses prepaid credits at ₹1 per credit, plus GST. Viewing, syncing, reports and AI insights are free. Actions cost small amounts, such as 0.10 credit to post an entry to TallyPrime or 100 credits a month for each extra team member. New accounts get 10 free credits.
Can my accountant and staff use it?
Yes. Invite them by mobile number, give each a role and choose which companies, years, ledgers and godowns they can see. The Owner's seat is free; each additional member is 100 credits a month.
Is my data safe?
Your data is stored in India on Amazon Web Services (Mumbai), sent over encrypted connections and visible only to the people you allow. GST portal passwords are stored encrypted. The Security page has the details.
